These are wonderful new frames made locally. These are individually crafted of solid oak and crafted using the finest joinery - made to last! The opening is 11 1/2 x 13 1/2 and the grippers are set in a perfect position to hold the backing very tightly. The paddle is tapered for comfort. The post and ball that the top is on is one piece of wood, not a wooden ball that is glued onto the post that could come apart. MADE IN MAINE
