These are wonderful new frames from Gary Moline. These are crafted in his home workshop and not mass produced. The workmanship is top notch and they are made of sold oak. The opening is 11 1/2 x 13 1/2 and the grippers are set in a perfect position to hold the backing very tightly. The paddle is tapered for comfort. The post and ball that the top is on is one piece of wood, not a wooden ball that is glued onto the post and could come apart. MADE IN MAINE
