Handmade Papers This is the website of papermaking artist Virginia (Gigi) Sarsfield of Brooklin, Maine.  Check it out!!!! Betsy's Sunflower Betsy's is a wonderful shop that is chock-a-block full of cool items for the kitchen, garden and more.  (I read the sign)..... BLOSSOM STUDIO Handmade lampwork glass beads by Sihaya Hopkins.  Her studio is in Brooklin Village and features her jewelry and other beaded items that are simply beautiful.  It's a must visit while you are in town!!!! The Cave An amazing shop, packed with gourmet cheeses, chocolates and wine. We serve hot soup, coffee and sandwiches and supply local, fresh produce! The Reach Lodge An amazing location for a quiet stay on the Coast of Maine.  As you sit in the main room you look out over Eggemoggin Reach.  In the summertime it is filled with sailboats gliding by in the gentle breeze.  It is under new management that provides friendly and efficient service.  WoodenBoat WoodenBoat is...a magazine, a store, a school and much more.  Their property is a must-see.  It's a waterfront estate that they have converted into the publishing operation along with a store of nautical items and a school that offers a varied curriculum of boat and water related subjects from building to sailing to art.  It's only a mile down the road from Maine Hooked Rugs. Friend Memorial Library Brooklin is very proud of our library.  It is one of the busiest "small" libraries in the State of Maine and has won awards for it's architecture.  A must see when you are here.  It's just across the street from our shop. Paul Sullivan - River Music Paul Sullivan is an accomplished Grammy Winning pianist and composer who travels the world playing his music as well as a member of the Paul Winter Consort and we are lucky that he lives in Brooklin and we can call him a friend.
