The Reach Lodge
An amazing location for a quiet stay on the Coast of Maine. As you sit in the main room you look out over Eggemoggin Reach. In the summertime it is filled with sailboats gliding by in the gentle breeze. It is under new management that provides friendly and efficient service.

WoodenBoat
WoodenBoat is...a magazine, a store, a school and much more. Their property is a must-see. It's a waterfront estate that they have converted into the publishing operation along with a store of nautical items and a school that offers a varied curriculum of boat and water related subjects from building to sailing to art. It's only a mile down the road from Maine Hooked Rugs.

Friend Memorial Library
Brooklin is very proud of our library. It is one of the busiest "small" libraries in the State of Maine and has won awards for it's architecture. A must see when you are here. It's just across the street from our shop.

New England Primitives
I posted this as a "friends who don't hook" which is somewhat true. Casey does some hooking but that isn't what her shop is about. The store is called Saltair Primitives on Bay Rd and is open year-round. Stop in and get a country/primitive "fix"..
